John Kennedy and Lydia Apegyah - John Kennedy serves as Development Officer for GhanaVenture. He will lend support in the areas of development of the ministries of WorldVenture’s field in Ghana, the development of programs and trainings that will improve the quality of life of pastors and church leaders in the Nkwanta District, and the development of collaborative relationships between WorldVenture and other Christian ministries with similar goals and objectives. Kennedy comes to the GhanaVenture team with 13 years of experience working with the Ghana Institute of Linguistics, Literacy and Bible Translation (GILLBT). He began with them as a Bible translator and has been serving as a donor relations officer for the last two years. His translation skills are invaluable, as he will be able to help us effectively communicate and translate our materials. Kennedy lived in the Nkwanta District so is familiar with the needs in the district – he is as such a valuable member of the team. Kennedy’s heart has been with us since we met him in 1999 – and God has opened the door for him to join us in the work. Kennedy (as we affectionately call him) and his wife, Lydia, have three sons.
